Training question: How do I introduce and practice poison bird blinds? 

Answer: 3-Peats!

3-Peats are one of the more valuable tools we have to teach our retrievers blind concepts and how to navigate certain elements that can be present on route to a blind.

In this example, the blind concept is a poison bird or gunner sitting in the field. But we can also use 3-Peats to practice navigating an element on route to a blind, such as the corner of a pond, a keyhole or a patch of cover.
