A FETCH member asked me a question recently: "My dog is popping on water blinds. What do I do?"

I responded with a video walking through the problem, and I wanted to share a piece of it with you.

Here's the short version: popping isn't the problem. It's a symptom.

Bugging, no-goes, peeking, freezing on the cast - these all point back to the same problem. State of mind. When a dog comes to the line unsure or a little afraid of what I'm asking, that shows up as hesitation. Correcting the pop itself doesn't fix that, because it's not addressing what's actually going on in the dog's head.

This is just one example of what happens when a FETCH member reaches out with a question. Sometimes I answer by email. Sometimes I record a video, like this one. And sometimes it's worth getting on a Zoom call to really talk through what's going on. Either way, you're not guessing how to solve problems on your own.
